There are a lot of different factors to take into account when deciding which package to choose to host your website. One aspect that is often misunderstood is the amount of storage space available to you on the server. Even if your website is relatively small, it doesn't necessarily mean that the most basic package with the smallest amount of storage space is the right one for you, because all that space that you think is going to be spare will actually be taken up by your e-mails. For example, if you have a 100mg website and 200 or even 500mg of server space, those extra 100 or 400mg will easily be chewed up by your e-mails.
This problem is often exacerbated by the fact that mobile devices are being commonly used to check e-mails away from the office. It's no surprise that more of us are trying to break the habit of being chained to our desks - even if we become more attached to our mobiles and tablets in the process. While convenient, checking e-mails on mobile devices doesn't actually download them from the server. If you don't have a specific webmail program on which to check your e-mails, they'll sit there even after you've read them and use up what little free space you have available. You need to actually connect to the e-mail server and ensure that you're not letting them pile up.

As well as signing up new clients this week, we've been continuing our deal with major car dealerships from all around Victoria. This weekend, however, Rhye Media are going out of range - rural Victoria, where not even our mobile devices will be of any use to us. We'll be back in the office on Wednesday; see you then!
