After many years of successfully running a Joomla! e-commerce site with limited responsiveness. Aegis decided it was time to go with something more up-to-date, which high-lighted its products and gave more than just general information regarding the company.
Rhye Media was once again selected to research options for their future site, exploring multiple providers and systems. From full out-of-the-box OEM providers to self managed Open-sourced systems, no option was excluded.
In the end, they decided to stick with a Joomla! / VirtueMart Open-source e-commerce system.
The layout for their future site was completed by using a template which featured many custom overrides and modifications with the final result showcasing their products and corporate branding. It also made it easier for customers to make a purchase on any device any where, any time.
